This adapter is a special double 1/2×28 TPI male design (MALE 1/2 X 28 TPI TO MALE 1/2 X 28 TPI) and enables you to fit standard attachments that have FEMALE 1/2 X 28 TPI thread on a standard FEMALE 1/2 x 28 TPI thread. With mounting this adapter you gain MALE 1/2 X 28 TPI thread to fit your existing FEMALE 1/2 x 28 TPI parts. For an easier application adapter has milled flats for 22 mm wrench.

Solid piece of steel and quite chunky part when you hold it for the first time. Most important thing about is, that both male threads are true and really machine cut as advertised.
